Dr. Farkhondeh Khorashadi Zadeh is a rising star in the field of Civil Engineering, specializing in Water Resource Engineering. Currently an Assistant Professor at Sharif University of Technology in Tehran, Iran, her research focuses on vital areas like water quality and hydrological modeling.

Dr. Khorashadi Zadeh boasts an impressive academic background. Following her undergraduate studies at Sharif University, she completed her Master’s degree jointly at KU Leuven and Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) in Belgium. She then went on to earn her Ph.D. and conduct postdoctoral research at VUB, further solidifying her expertise in water resource engineering. Her dedication is further evidenced by her numerous awards, including the prestigious Dr. Kazemi Ashtiani Award and a grant from Iran’s National Elites Foundation to establish a startup.
